Assistant Restaurant Manager

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join a leading hospitality group with a strong portfolio of premium restaurants, bars, cafés, pubs and entertainment venues across Australia.

This role is suited to a confident hospitality professional who enjoys fast-paced environments, team leadership and delivering memorable guest experiences. You will play an important role in supporting venue operations, developing team performance and maintaining high service standards.

• Lead and support a large hospitality team in a positive and respectful environment
• Motivate team members to deliver consistently high standards of service
• Maintain a welcoming, vibrant and well-presented venue environment
• Keep guest satisfaction at the centre of daily operations
• Support smooth front-of-house operations during busy service periods
• Assist with staff training, development and performance management
• Monitor operational standards and ensure company procedures are followed
• Support financial controls and contribute to achieving sales targets
• Identify opportunities to improve venue performance and customer experience
• Assist with implementing strategies that support business growth
• Work collaboratively with senior management and venue teams
• Help deliver successful operations for new and established venues

• Proven experience in an Assistant Restaurant Manager, Restaurant Manager or similar hospitality leadership role
• Strong team leadership and people-management skills
• Experience working in busy, high-volume hospitality environments
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to remain organised and composed during busy service periods
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations and service standards
• Commercial awareness with an understanding of sales and financial controls
• A proactive and hands-on approach to leadership
• Ability to motivate, train and develop hospitality team members
• Strong commitment to guest satisfaction and venue presentation
• Willingness to work flexible hospitality hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
