Working on a variety of heavy mining equipment, you will diagnose electrical faults, perform scheduled and preventative maintenance, and ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently.

• Diagnose and repair auto electrical faults on heavy mining equipment
• Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
• Inspect, test and maintain vehicle electrical and air conditioning systems
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and electronic system faults
• Provide technical recommendations on equipment condition and required repairs
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high workmanship standards
• Follow all workplace health, safety and mining compliance requirements
• Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
• Work independently and collaboratively within a field service team
• Maintain professional presentation and excellent customer service standards

• Qualified Auto Electrician with recognised trade certification
• Experience working on heavy vehicles, mobile plant or mining equipment
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills in auto electrical systems
• Experience servicing and repairing automotive air conditioning systems
• Current driver's licence
• Able to pass a Coal Board Medical (or meet medical requirements)
• Good written, verbal and computer literacy skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
• Positive attitude with excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Previous mining industry experience will be highly regarded
