Automotive Electrician

A growing Australian-owned mining and heavy machinery service company in Queensland is seeking experienced Auto Electricians to join their expanding field service team.

Successful candidates will work on mine site equipment carrying out maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on heavy machinery in a safety-focused environment.

• Perform auto electrical diagnostics and repairs on heavy machinery
• Carry out scheduled and preventative maintenance
• Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting on mining equipment
• Service and repair air conditioning systems
• Provide professional advice on machine conditions and maintenance needs
• Maintain high safety and workmanship standards
• Complete work independently and within a team environment
• Ensure accurate reporting and documentation of completed work

• Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician
• Previous experience with heavy vehicles or mining equipment preferred
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of air conditioning systems advantageous
• Current driver’s licence
• Ability to pass Coal Board Medical if required
• Good verbal, written, and computer literacy skills
• Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and in teams
