An established automotive dealership is seeking two qualified Automotive Technicians to join its experienced team in Darwin, NT. This opportunity is suited to skilled technicians who take pride in quality workmanship, prioritise safety and can confidently diagnose, service and repair vehicles.
The role is focused on proven technical capability, with your qualifications, practical experience and employment history demonstrating the skills required to work to a high professional standard.
Toyota experience is highly desirable, with opportunities to access factory training, develop your technical career and gain exposure to a diverse range of automotive servicing, diagnostics and repair work.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain Toyota vehicles to manufacturer standards
- Diagnose mechanical and technical faults accurately
- Carry out repairs efficiently and to a high standard
- Complete scheduled servicing and general mechanical repairs
- Document completed repairs, findings and recommendations accurately
- Follow workplace health, safety and dealership procedures
- Maintain consistent quality and attention to detail
- Work effectively as part of an experienced dealership team
- Work independently when required
- Contribute to a professional and customer-focused workshop environment
Requirements & Eligibility
- Recognised automotive trade qualification
- Previous automotive dealership experience
- Toyota experience is highly desirable
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Applicants currently residing in Australia with valid working rights
