Automotive Technician / Mechanic

A specialist 4x4 workshop in Queensland is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic to join its skilled team. The role focuses on servicing, diagnostics, mechanical repairs and custom vehicle work, with the opportunity to work on premium European 4x4 vehicles.

The workshop offers a stable full-time position with no weekend work, a supportive team environment, bonus opportunities and regular staff activities.

• Perform diagnostics and fault finding on 4x4 vehicles
• Carry out scheduled servicing and mechanical repairs
• Identify mechanical and electrical faults and complete effective repairs
• Work on Land Rover vehicles and other European 4x4 models
• Assist with vehicle modifications, upgrades and custom builds
• Maintain accurate and high-quality workmanship across all repairs
• Use workshop equipment and diagnostic tools safely and effectively
• Work collaboratively with other technicians to complete jobs efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organised and professional workshop environment

• Qualified Automotive Technician or Motor Mechanic
• Strong experience working with 4x4 vehicles
• European vehicle experience highly desirable
• Land Rover experience is an advantage
• Master Technician experience with any recognised vehicle manufacturer is highly regarded
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Reliable, responsible and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Valid driver's licence
