The Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Automotive Technicians / Diagnostic Technicians to join a well-established automotive service team in Australia. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified technicians with strong diagnostic and repair experience who are looking to build a long-term career with ongoing training, career progression, and employer sponsorship for eligible candidates.

You will work with premium European vehicle brands in a professional workshop environment, carrying out diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and quality inspections while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
Carry out servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance on vehicles
Perform road tests and quality control inspections
Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining manufacturer standards
Ensure all work is completed safely and accurately
Maintain workshop tools and equipment in good working condition
Work collaboratively with the workshop team to achieve daily targets
Provide high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
Contribute to a positive and professional team environment

Requirements & Eligibility

Minimum 3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician or Diagnostic Technician
Trade qualification in Motor Mechanics or equivalent
Strong experience diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle makes and models
Previous experience in a busy workshop or prestige dealership is highly regarded
Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Strong communication and organisational skills
Passion for the automotive industry and commitment to quality workmanship
Current Australian driver's licence or ability to obtain one if required
Experience working with European vehicle brands such as BMW, Volkswagen, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, or Jaguar Land Rover is advantageous
