Baker

A growing premium food business in South Australia is seeking a qualified and experienced Baker to join its full-time bakery team. This is an opportunity to work in a professional commercial bakery environment with modern equipment, high-quality products and an experienced team.

The role is suited to a skilled Baker who takes pride in consistent product quality, follows established recipes and processes, and can work efficiently in an early-morning production environment.

• Prepare, mix, shape, bake and pack a range of breads and sweet yeast products
• Follow recipes, production methods and quality standards consistently
• Operate commercial bakery equipment and industrial ovens safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic bakery production area
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements
• Work collaboratively with the bakery team to maintain efficient production
• Manage production tasks effectively during early-morning shifts and time-sensitive periods
• Monitor product quality and maintain consistent presentation and standards
• Handle bakery ingredients and products safely, including lifting loads of up to 25kg
• Contribute positively to a professional and supportive team environment

• Relevant commercial baking experience
• Certificate III in Baking preferred
• Experience working in a commercial bakery, industrial bakery or food production environment
• Ability to work early morning shifts commencing from approximately 2:00am
• Good physical fitness and ability to lift up to 25kg
• Ability to follow recipes, baking methods and production procedures
• Strong attention to product quality and consistency
• Reliable, responsible and committed approach to work
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Own reliable transport
• Current and valid driver's licence
• Valid Australian work rights or eligibility for an appropriate visa
• Willingness to relocate or work in South Australia
