Bar Manager

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Bar Manager to take the lead in a high-quality hospitality venue in New South Wales. This role is suited to a confident hospitality professional who can lead a bar team, manage beverage operations and maintain high standards across service, stock control and venue procedures.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing the beverage offering, supporting team performance and ensuring a consistent guest experience. Sponsorship is available for an eligible full-time candidate, subject to employer requirements and Department of Home Affairs approval.

• Lead, train and roster the bar team
• Manage the cocktail, wine and spirits program
• Maintain high standards of beverage quality and service
• Oversee stock control, ordering and inventory management
• Monitor beverage costs and support effective cost control
• Develop and maintain bar procedures, checklists and workflows
• Ensure responsible service of alcohol requirements are followed
• Maintain compliance with liquor licence conditions and venue procedures
• Support the ongoing development of the beverage program
• Work closely with the wider hospitality team to deliver consistent service

• Minimum three years of experience in a senior bartender or Bar Manager role
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine and spirits
• Experience with stock control, ordering and beverage cost management
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train and develop a team
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Current NSW RSA competency card
• Availability to work evenings and weekends
• Valid Australian work rights or eligibility for employer sponsorship
