Boilermakers - Structural Steel

An immediate-start opportunity is available for experienced Boilermakers to join a structural steel project team in New South Wales. The role is suited to trade-qualified professionals with strong structural steel and MIG welding experience who can work safely and efficiently in a busy fabrication environment.

This is a Monday-to-Friday position with potential for ongoing work for suitable candidates.

• Fabricate and assemble structural steel components
• Perform high-quality MIG welding across structural steel projects
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans
• Measure, mark, cut and prepare steel materials for fabrication
• Carry out welding, fitting and fabrication work to required specifications
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy
• Use hand tools, power tools and fabrication equipment safely
• Follow workplace safety procedures and project requirements
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Work effectively as part of a fabrication and project team
• Complete work within required timeframes and production schedules
• Use required PPE and comply with site safety standards

• Trade qualification as a Boilermaker, Fitter, Cert III Engineering & Fabrication or similar
• Strong structural steel fabrication experience
• Proven MIG welding experience
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Own suitable tools and required PPE
• White Card
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced fabrication environment
• Reliable and punctual work ethic
• EWP ticket advantageous
• Working at Heights certification advantageous
• Forklift licence advantageous
• Availability for Monday-to-Friday work
