Branch Manager
The Opportunity
This employer wants a Branch Manager who is comfortable owning a whole site in Alice Springs, NT. Think budgets, rosters, stock, customer accounts and safety, all in one role, with a tight team of three to lead (two qualified fitters and one leading hand with deep experience).
The company has been in automotive glass for over 30 years, working with fleet, retail, insurance and trade clients nationally. It is open to candidates from workshop management, retail management, trade operations or service roles, and it is an approved NT DAMA employer able to offer visa sponsorship to eligible applicants.

Key Responsibilities
- Direct the branch's daily operations and financial performance against budget
- Lead people through rosters, coaching, performance oversight and a positive workshop culture
- Run inventory and stock control and build local supplier ties so products are always available
- Grow fleet, insurance, retail and trade accounts and give strong customer service by phone and in person
- Maintain strict WHS standards, store security and accurate records, and assist with basic automotive glass fitting or repairs during busy periods (on-the-job training provided)
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven track record as Service Manager, Operations Manager, Workshop Manager, Retail Manager or Branch Manager
- Strong communication and team management
- Sound business awareness and computer skills
- A current valid driver's licence, which is mandatory
- Applicants needing a visa require nomination under Retail Manager (General), ANZSCO 142111
- Applicants needing a visa also require relevant formal qualifications, suitable management experience, English proficiency and NT DAMA eligibility
