Breeder Farm Manager

A leading poultry breeding operation is seeking an experienced Breeder Farm Manager to oversee daily farm operations and drive high standards of production, animal welfare and biosecurity in NSW.

This is a leadership-focused opportunity for a skilled poultry professional who can combine strong technical knowledge with practical farm management and team leadership. The role offers an attractive salary of around $100,000 depending on skills and experience, plus superannuation, accommodation or allowance, performance incentives and relocation support.

• Manage the day-to-day operations of a commercial breeder farm
• Lead and support farm staff to maintain strong productivity and workplace standards
• Monitor flock performance, bird health and production outcomes
• Implement effective poultry husbandry and animal welfare practices
• Maintain high standards of biosecurity, hygiene and disease prevention
• Identify operational improvements and implement best-practice production methods
• Plan and coordinate daily farm activities and workforce requirements
• Monitor animal health issues and take appropriate action
• Maintain accurate production records and prepare operational reports
• Support continuous improvement across farm performance and efficiency
• Ensure farm activities comply with relevant animal welfare and operational standards
• Work closely with management to achieve production and performance targets

• Minimum 5 years of experience in poultry production operations
• Strong knowledge of poultry husbandry and breeder farm management
• Sound understanding of animal health and disease management
• Knowledge of animal welfare requirements and industry codes
• Proven leadership and staff management experience
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Good communication and reporting abilities
• Ability to lead, train and develop a farm team
• Practical and proactive approach to farm management
• Strong commitment to biosecurity, animal welfare and production standards
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based rural environment
• Willingness to relocate to NSW if required
