The Opportunity

This Carpenter brief for Christchurch is aimed at tradespeople with genuine breadth. The hiring team wants someone who has handled different construction methods on commercial, residential or industrial projects and can join experienced crews without a long settling-in period.

From a recruiter's point of view, the shortlist will favour applicants who can show framing, fixing and roofing alongside cladding, architraves and steel stud work, backed by referees. Mirror those duties in your application, name the project types you have worked on, and mention any Site Safe or other tickets you hold.

The position is full-time on consistent hours, moving between short and long-term projects, with the potential to become permanent. Visa sponsorship opportunities are open to eligible candidates.

Generic CVs rarely make the cut for trade roles like this one. Line up each project with the duty it proves, then retune your CV to this framing and roofing brief in Build AI CV.
