This Perth search is for a Ceiling Fixer / Gypsum Board Installer who can be trusted on large commercial sites for the long haul. The full-time role suits someone who works confidently from drawings, sets out their own areas and completes grid ceilings, stud walls and sheeting without hand-holding.

Key Responsibilities
- Fix grid (T-bar) suspended ceilings, plasterboard ceilings and acoustic systems
- Install what sits behind the ceiling: frames, furring channels and suspension systems
- Construct steel stud partitions and walls
- Hang plasterboard / gypsum board, including fire-rated and acoustic systems, and form bulkheads and specialist interior features
- Interpret plans, measure and set out independently
Requirements & Eligibility
- Strong commercial experience in ceilings and partitions
- Strong commercial experience in plasterboard and interior systems
- Ability to read and make sense of plans
- Ability to measure and set out
- Ability to work independently
- Experience in New Zealand on hospitals, schools, apartments, offices, high-rise or major commercial projects will be of particular interest
- Strong spoken English, a good employment history and clear interview answers about the work you personally completed
