The opportunity

Here is what this Sunshine Coast employer is really looking for: a full-time Chef who can move between kitchen sections, cares about how each plate looks and helps senior chefs keep a busy bar and grill running smoothly. The venue is a popular tourist destination, and its kitchen covers a lunch and dinner menu as well as functions and events in a versatile space.

The food is high-quality Western cooking with Asian fusion, reflecting the region and an international team. To stand out, show that you have worked closely with an Executive Chef and Sous Chef, handled deliveries and stock, and helped with costing or menu ideas. Mention any time spent mentoring other cooks too. Visa sponsorship opportunities are available for suitable eligible applicants.
