We are seeking an experienced and passionate Cook to join a well-established hospitality venue in Queensland. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a motivated culinary professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality meals and maintaining exceptional kitchen standards. You will play a key role in daily kitchen operations, ensuring outstanding food quality, efficient service, and compliance with food safety regulations. • Prepare and cook high-quality meals with consistency in taste, presentation and portion control
• Manage daily food preparation, cooking and plating activities
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
• Monitor kitchen inventory and assist with ordering ingredients and supplies
• Control food costs and minimise waste while maintaining quality standards
• Train, support and supervise kitchen team members
• Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service
• Prepare meals to accommodate dietary requirements and customer requests
• Maintain kitchen equipment and report maintenance requirements
• Contribute to menu improvements and uphold quality standards across all dishes

• Recognised culinary qualification or substantial commercial cooking experience
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced hospitality kitchen
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices and health regulations
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Passion for delivering high-quality food and consistent presentation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with stock control and food cost management
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
