We are seeking experienced and passionate Chefs and Cooks to join a well-established Japanese restaurant in Queensland. This opportunity is ideal for hospitality professionals who want to develop their skills in authentic Japanese cuisine while building a long-term career in Australia.

The successful candidate will work in a professional kitchen preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining exceptional food standards, and contributing to a collaborative team environment. Full-time, part-time, and casual opportunities are available, with visa sponsorship offered to suitable candidates

• Prepare and cook authentic Japanese dishes to a consistently high standard
• Assist with food preparation, portioning, and presentation
• Maintain food quality, freshness, and consistency during service
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
• Support stock rotation, storage, and inventory control
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Assist with menu preparation and daily specials when required
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-focused workplace

• Minimum two years of experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant environment
• Experience in Japanese cuisine is highly regarded
• Conversational English communication skills
• Meet English language requirements for visa sponsorship where applicable
• Passion for building a hospitality career in Australia
• Strong work ethic with a positive and reliable attitude
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced team environment
• Commitment to delivering high-quality food and customer satisfaction
• Available for full-time employment or regular casual shifts
