An established Byron Bay venue is looking for an experienced Chef de Partie who can demonstrate strong kitchen capability, consistency and the ability to perform confidently during busy service.

Based on vibrant Jonson Street, the venue offers an opportunity to work in a high-profile coastal setting while becoming part of an experienced and supportive kitchen team.

This role is suited to a chef who has built genuine commercial kitchen experience and is ready to take greater ownership of their section while continuing to develop professionally.

• Manage and maintain your allocated kitchen section during service
• Prepare and present dishes consistently to venue standards
• Maintain food quality, presentation and portion control
• Support senior chefs with daily kitchen operations
• Work effectively during high-volume and fast-paced service
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace standards
• Assist with preparation, stock control and kitchen organisation
• Communicate clearly with the wider kitchen team
• Contribute to a positive and professional kitchen environment

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar commercial kitchen role
• Demonstrated ability to confidently manage your own section
• Experience working in a busy, high-volume kitchen
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, professional and motivated approach to work
• Genuine hands-on experience that can be verified
• Full working rights in Australia
