Chefs and Cooks

An exciting opportunity is available for enthusiastic and motivated Cooks to join a well-established agribusiness operation in Western Australia. Working on a roster basis, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and hearty meals for a hardworking workforce in a remote accommodation setting. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy cooking in a team-focused environment, can work independently, and are comfortable with early starts and varied workloads. Sponsorship is available for suitable candidates, with support pathways available for long-term employment opportunities.

• Plan and prepare nutritious meals including breakfast, morning tea, lunch and dinner
• Coordinate meal planning based on workforce numbers and dietary requirements
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
• Ensure kitchen equipment is operated safely and maintained appropriately
• Monitor and report maintenance and safety issues within kitchen and dining areas
• Manage pantry stock levels and communicate supply requirements to management
• Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen environment at all times
• Follow food safety regulations and workplace hygiene standards
• Manage kitchen waste and ensure disposal areas remain clean and organised
• Work efficiently within rostered schedules while meeting meal service deadlines
• Contribute positively to a team-oriented living and working environment

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, camp kitchen, catering operation or similar food service environment
• Ability to prepare meals for large groups in a fast-paced setting
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing requirements
• Professional and respectful approach when working within shared accommodation environments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
• Current driver's licence and own transport
• Willingness to work on a roster basis
