Chefs and Cooks

Join a busy café kitchen in New South Wales, supporting breakfast and lunch service in a friendly, well-organised team. This role offers consistent day shifts, with early starts and finishes by approximately 2:30pm. There are no split shifts or night shifts.

The kitchen operates with creative menus, structured preparation and a supportive team environment where training, teamwork and communication are valued.

• Review daily preparation lists and confirm priorities with the team leader
• Complete preparation tasks to support breakfast and lunch service
• Manage your allocated section during service
• Maintain consistent food quality and presentation
• Assist other kitchen team members during busy service periods
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the shift
• Clean as you go and follow kitchen hygiene and food safety standards

• Previous commercial kitchen or café experience
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Positive and professional attitude
• Willingness to receive and apply constructive feedback
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
• Availability for early morning and daytime shifts
