Chefs and Cooks

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef / Cook to join a busy and well-established restaurant. This full-time position is ideal for a motivated hospitality professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen and is committed to delivering consistently high-quality food and excellent service.

You will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals, maintaining food quality and hygiene standards, and working closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations. This is a great opportunity to build a long-term career with a supportive hospitality business.

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with menu specifications
• Work across all sections of the kitchen as required
• Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control
• Assist with food preparation, cooking, plating, and service during busy periods
• Prepare sauces, vegetables, meat, and other ingredients
• Maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations
• Ensure the kitchen remains clean, organised, and hygienic at all times
• Follow food safety, health, and hygiene regulations
• Assist with stock rotation and minimise food wastage
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver efficient service
• Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations

• Relevant trade qualification or equivalent commercial cooking experience
• Minimum two years of experience in a similar restaurant or commercial kitchen
• Experience preparing Mexican or Tex-Mex cuisine is highly regarded
• Experience working in high-volume service environments
• Knowledge of all kitchen sections and cooking techniques
• Understanding of sauces, larder, vegetable preparation, and butchery
• Strong knowledge of food safety and workplace hygiene standards
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Fluent English communication skills
• Availability to work full-time, including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
