Chefs and Cooks

We are seeking experienced and motivated Cooks / Chefs to join a busy hospitality team in Western Australia. This opportunity is suited to hospitality professionals who want more than short-term employment, with the potential to progress into full-time work and employer sponsorship for the right candidate.

You will work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment where quality, consistency, teamwork and customer satisfaction are highly valued. • Prepare and cook food to established recipes, quality standards and presentation requirements
• Assist with the preparation of breakfast, lunch, dinner and other menu items as required
• Maintain consistent food quality, portion control and presentation
• Work efficiently in a high-volume and fast-paced kitchen environment
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation across kitchen work areas
• Assist with stock rotation, ingredient preparation and general kitchen operations
• Coordinate effectively with other kitchen and front-of-house team members
• Manage kitchen tasks efficiently during busy service periods
• Minimise food wastage while maintaining required quality standards
• Follow instructions from senior kitchen staff and contribute positively to the team
• Support smooth day-to-day kitchen operations

• Previous experience working as a Cook or Chef
• Experience in a high-volume commercial kitchen is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of food preparation, cooking and kitchen operations
• Positive attitude with a reliable and professional approach to work
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Commitment to food quality, consistency and customer service
• Good understanding of workplace hygiene and food safety requirements
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and busy service periods
• Must already be residing in Perth, Western Australia
• Eligible visa holders currently residing in Perth are encouraged to apply
• Applicants must be willing to complete the required qualifying period where applicable
