Chefs and Cooks

We are seeking experienced hospitality professionals for opportunities with a growing Japanese restaurant group in Western Australia.

Positions are available for Chefs, Cooks and Wait Staff within a structured restaurant environment. Candidates will join an established team and have the opportunity to develop their skills through hands-on experience and consistent workplace standards.

Sponsorship may be available for suitable candidates based on their qualifications, experience, performance and business requirements. Candidates must hold valid Australian work rights and commence employment before sponsorship can be considered.

• Prepare and cook a variety of food according to company standards
• Manage assigned kitchen sections during service
• Maintain food quality, presentation and consistency
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
• Prepare ingredients and kitchen items
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organisation
• Assist with stock control and inventory management
• Coordinate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams
• Support and train other kitchen team members where required
• Assist with deliveries and food inventory
• Greet and assist customers
• Take customer orders and serve food and beverages
• Clear and reset tables
• Respond to customer enquiries professionally
• Process payments and operate POS systems
• Maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment
• Support general restaurant operations as required

• Minimum 1 year of commercial kitchen experience required for Chef and Cook applicants
• Previous experience must include Asian cuisine
• Japanese cuisine experience is not essential
• Relevant Australian qualifications are preferred
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable and professional approach to work
• Long-term commitment to the hospitality industry
• Valid Australian work rights
• Currently residing in Australia
• Willingness to commence employment before sponsorship consideration
