• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards
• Maintain consistent food quality, portion control and presentation across service
• Work efficiently during busy kitchen services while maintaining high standards
• Assist with food preparation, mise en place and daily kitchen operations
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and food safety standards throughout the kitchen
• Work collaboratively with chefs, kitchen staff and front-of-house teams
• Monitor stock levels and assist with receiving and storing ingredients
• Minimise food waste through effective preparation and stock management
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and kitchen policies
• Contribute ideas and support menu development where required
• Maintain a clean, organised and professional workstation
• Provide reliable support across different kitchen operations and service periods

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent qualification
• Minimum 1 year of relevant commercial kitchen experience
• Strong passion for food, hospitality and delivering quality dining experiences
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment
• Strong work ethic, reliability and a professional attitude
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays
• Ability to meet applicable Australian immigration and sponsorship requirements
• Current Australian residency is required for sponsorship consideration
• Candidates must currently be based in Sydney
