Client Manager

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Client Manager – Public Practice to join a respected accounting and business advisory firm in New South Wales, Australia.

This role is ideal for an accountant who wants to move beyond traditional compliance work and focus on building strong client relationships, providing practical business advice and helping business owners achieve their goals.

• Managing and developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of business clients
• Providing practical business advisory and commercially focused advice
• Reviewing financial performance and identifying business improvement opportunities
• Supporting clients with business planning, cash flow management and forecasting
• Providing guidance on tax strategies and business-related financial matters
• Overseeing accounting and taxation compliance requirements
• Working closely with business owners as a trusted adviser
• Providing proactive recommendations and solutions to support client goals
• Managing and reviewing client work to ensure a high standard of service

• Minimum 3–5 years of public practice accounting experience
• CA or CPA qualified
• Strong experience in business advisory and client relationship management
• Demonstrated experience managing a portfolio of business clients
• Excellent communication skills and confidence when dealing directly with business owners
• Commercial, proactive and client-focused approach
• Ability to provide practical advice and identify opportunities for clients
• Strong knowledge of accounting and taxation compliance requirements
• Australian work experience will be highly regarded
