CNC/Bridge Saw Operator

An established stone fabrication company in Queensland is seeking an experienced CNC / Bridge Saw Operator to join its growing factory team. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for candidates with experience in stone benchtop fabrication, AutoCAD drafting, and CNC programming.

• Operate CNC routers and bridge saw machines for stone fabrication
• Prepare DXF drawings using AutoCAD from measurements and job sheets
• Program CNC jobs and manage cutting sequences efficiently
• Read and interpret technical drawings, cut lists, and production schedules
• Load, unload, and safely handle stone slabs
• Perform machine setup, tool changes, and routine maintenance
• Work closely with factory and installation teams to meet deadlines
• Maintain accuracy and quality throughout the fabrication process

• Previous experience operating CNC machines and/or bridge saws
• Experience within the stone industry is highly preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD drafting and DXF preparation
• Ability to program CNC machinery or willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Forklift licence is advantageous but not essential
• Good communication and teamwork skills
