CNC / Bridge Saw Operator

Join a well-established stone fabrication business in Queensland specializing in high-quality residential and commercial stone benchtops. We are seeking an experienced CNC / Bridge Saw Operator with AutoCAD drafting and CNC programming skills to become part of a busy factory team.

This is a hands-on, full-time role combining machine operation, drafting, and CNC programming in a modern production environment.

• Operate CNC routers and bridge saws for stone benchtop fabrication
• Prepare DXF drawings using AutoCAD from site measurements and job specifications
• Program CNC machines and manage cutting sequences
• Load, unload, and safely handle stone slabs
• Interpret technical drawings, cut lists, and production schedules
• Carry out basic machine setup, tool changes, and daily maintenance
• Work closely with production and installation teams to meet project deadlines
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment

• Previous experience operating CNC machines and/or bridge saws, preferably within the stone industry
• Experience using AutoCAD to prepare DXF drawings
• Ability to program CNC machines or willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently
• Forklift licence is advantageous but not essential
• Willingness to work in a hands-on factory environment operating machinery daily
