Diesel Mechanic & Trailer Mechanic

A growing heavy vehicle workshop in South Australia is currently seeking experienced and dependable Diesel Mechanics and Trailer Mechanics to join its expanding team. This is a full-time permanent opportunity offering long-term career stability, modern workshop facilities, and a supportive working environment.

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel vehicles, trailers, and related equipment
• Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
• Perform brake, suspension, hydraulic, and electrical repairs
• Conduct fault finding and mechanical troubleshooting
• Complete trailer and dolly servicing, repairs, and maintenance
• Accurately complete job cards and workshop paperwork
• Ensure vehicles meet roadworthiness and NHVAS compliance requirements
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete repair projects efficiently
• Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety and quality workmanship

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic and/or Trailer Mechanic
• Relevant trade qualification preferred
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Good mechanical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• MC licence advantageous but not essential
• Sponsorship may be considered for highly skilled and experienced candidates
