Diesel Motor Mechanic
The Opportunity
Here is what this hiring manager wants: a heavy vehicle mechanic who is confident with complex diagnostics and can keep a working freight fleet available. The opening is a permanent, full-time Diesel Motor Mechanic role with an established road transport business in regional NSW, based at Dubbo or at a second workshop in the Riverina that rotates staff to Dubbo. You will look after prime movers, trailers and bulk freight equipment, balancing repairs and preventive maintenance with NHVR, chain of responsibility and WHS compliance.
Suitably qualified candidates can be sponsored on a subclass 482 visa, and people who currently hold a valid visa in Australia receive preference, though it is not a requirement. Expect to need a licence and to pass a medical and a drug and alcohol test.
