Diesel/Truck Mechanic

We are seeking experienced Diesel and Truck Mechanics for opportunities with established workshops across Queensland. This is an opportunity for skilled technicians with strong hands-on experience in truck and diesel mechanical work to join professional workshop environments.

The role is suited to qualified mechanics who can confidently diagnose, repair and maintain heavy vehicles, diesel engines and associated mechanical systems.

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and heavy vehicles
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs on trucks
• Inspect and repair trailer and suspension systems
• Perform fault finding and identify mechanical issues efficiently
• Complete repairs in accordance with workshop standards and safety requirements
• Use diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge to identify faults
• Maintain accurate job cards and service records
• Inspect vehicle components and recommend required repairs
• Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures

• Relevant trade qualification in Diesel or Heavy Vehicle Mechanics
• Minimum 5 years of relevant mechanical experience
• Strong hands-on experience working with trucks or diesel engines
• Experience with truck engines, trailers and suspension systems
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Good technical repair and mechanical problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to complete job cards accurately and efficiently
• Ability to work effectively in a professional workshop environment
• Australian mechanical experience is highly regarded
