Electrician

An established electrical and security business in New South Wales is seeking an experienced Electrical & Security Technician to join its growing team. The role covers a varied range of residential and commercial electrical work, along with CCTV, alarm, intercom and access control installations. You will enjoy consistent local work, a structured 40-hour week and the opportunity to develop your security systems expertise.

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance and repair work across residential and commercial projects
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot CCTV systems
• Install and maintain alarm systems
• Install and service intercom systems
• Install and maintain access control systems
• Attend local jobs and complete work to a professional standard
• Communicate professionally with clients in residential and commercial environments
• Manage assigned jobs independently and complete work efficiently
• Maintain a professional presentation when working in client homes and businesses
• Follow electrical, workplace health and safety requirements

• Australian electrical licence or overseas electrical qualifications eligible for Australian licensing
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience
• Own set of electrical hand tools
• Australian driver's licence
• White Card
• Working at Heights ticket is advantageous
• EWP ticket is advantageous
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional presentation and reliable work ethic
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision
• Overseas-qualified candidates eligible for Australian licensing are encouraged to apply
