The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Electrician or Lift Installation Technician to join a growing Australian company specialising in residential lift systems. This permanent full-time position offers the opportunity to work on the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of residential lift equipment while developing specialist skills in a high-demand industry.

Key Responsibilities

Install, service and repair residential lift systems
Wire, test and commission lift systems and control panels
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
Install and configure VSD motor controls and electrical components
Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs
Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards
Provide professional service while working at customer sites
Work independently and collaboratively within the installation team
Assist with training and supporting team members when required
Travel to various worksites across New South Wales as required
Maintain accurate service and installation documentation

Requirements & Eligibility

Qualified Electrician or overseas trade-qualified Electrician
Relevant electrical installation and maintenance experience
Current Australian electrical licence or ability to meet NSW licensing requirements
Experience with lift systems, control panels, VSD motors or similar industrial electrical equipment is highly regarded
Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation
Mechanically minded with excellent problem-solving ability
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Reliable, motivated and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to travel within New South Wales when required
