Emergency Department Registered Nurse
The Opportunity
Here is what this Canberra hiring team wants: an experienced Registered Nurse for a busy Emergency Department, someone with clear-headed clinical judgement, good communication and a firm commitment to safe emergency care.
The full-time job means assessing patients, planning and giving care and reviewing outcomes with a multidisciplinary team, while supporting patients and their families. Shifts run on a rotating roster with evenings, nights and weekends. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.
To stand out, mirror those duties in your application. Show the emergency settings you have worked in, give an example of a decision you made under pressure, and describe how you worked with colleagues from other disciplines.
Recruiters shortlisting for ED roles look for the postgraduate emergency qualification, your post-graduate nursing years and your AHPRA position on the first page of a CV. Put together a recruiter-friendly emergency nursing CV with Build AI CV so those details are easy to find.
