The Opportunity

A growing Australian food and hospitality group is expanding its operations across multiple states and is seeking experienced hospitality professionals to join its expanding team.

Opportunities are available for Supervisors, Field Managers and Chefs across NSW, VIC, QLD and WA.

The business operates a diverse portfolio of Japanese-inspired food, sushi, fresh bar, dining and hospitality venues, with further locations planned across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Train store teams on new menu items and company procedures
  • Conduct regular menu, product and operational reviews
  • Provide operational guidance and support to multiple locations
  • Assist with new store openings, menu setup and operational preparation
  • Monitor stock, equipment and store facility requirements
  • Develop strategies to improve store performance and achieve sales targets
  • Review operational processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Coach and support store teams in company procedures and standards
  • Monitor food quality, customer service and operational standards
  • Conduct regular store visits and provide hands-on support
  • Work closely with management and store teams to maintain consistent standards
  • Prepare and cook food according to established recipes and quality standards
  • Assist with menu preparation and introduction of new dishes
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
  • Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements
  • Manage food preparation, stock rotation and kitchen inventory
  • Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment
  • Assist with new venue openings and kitchen setup
  • Work closely with store management and operations teams
  • Train and support kitchen team members when required

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Australian Permanent Residency or a valid visa with appropriate full-time work rights
  • Previous experience in F&B operations, franchise management or multi-site restaurant management
  • Experience supporting or managing multiple venues is highly desirable
  • Japanese restaurant, sushi or hospitality management experience is advantageous
  • Strong English communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to work weekends when required
  • Willingness to travel between stores, including regional and interstate locations
  • Current driver's licence is preferred
  • Working Holiday Visa holders are not eligible for Supervisor / Field Manager positions
  • Relevant commercial kitchen or restaurant experience
  • Japanese cuisine, sushi or broader F&B experience is highly regarded
  • Relevant culinary qualifications are preferred
  • Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Flexible and willing to relocate or work across different Australian locations
  • Willingness to work in regional and interstate locations is strongly encouraged
