The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Venue / Front of House Manager to lead the daily operations of a busy and well-established hospitality venue. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional who enjoys leading teams, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving operational excellence.

Working closely with the business owners, you will oversee front-of-house operations, manage and develop staff, coordinate functions and events, and ensure the venue consistently delivers outstanding guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily front-of-house, bar, and food service operations
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the front-of-house team
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new team members
  • Prepare and manage staff rosters in line with operational requirements and labour budgets
  • Delegate tasks effectively and provide leadership during service
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction
  • Monitor operational procedures and improve workplace systems where required
  • Coordinate private functions and events from booking through to delivery
  • Ensure compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and relevant licensing requirements
  • Work closely with business owners to achieve operational and financial goals
  • Monitor venue performance and assist in achieving key business objectives
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and productive workplace culture

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Recent experience in a Venue Manager, Front of House Manager, or hospitality management role
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Proven ability to manage busy hospitality operations
  • Experience recruiting, training, and developing hospitality staff
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and peak trading periods
  • Strong focus on customer service and operational excellence
  • Knowledge of bar operations, food service, and hospitality procedures
  • Interest in wine, craft beverages, and contemporary hospitality trends is highly regarded
  • WA Approved Manager certification or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
