Garden Maintenance Team Leader

A leading horticulture and garden maintenance business in New South Wales is seeking an experienced Horticulturist / Garden Maintenance professional to join their team. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality garden care, soft landscaping services, and leading a team to achieve excellent results.

• Complete high-quality garden maintenance and soft landscaping tasks
• Lead and support team members across various garden maintenance projects
• Perform hedging, pruning, weeding, planting, and plant health management
• Monitor garden conditions and implement improvements to maintain premium standards
• Provide guidance, training, and knowledge sharing to apprentices and team members
• Manage daily tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a professional team
• Maintain safe work practices and ensure proper use of equipment and PPE
• Build positive relationships with clients through reliable and professional service
• Support ongoing improvement of garden maintenance processes and quality standards

• Relevant horticulture qualification or strong professional experience in garden maintenance
• Solid knowledge of horticulture practices, plant care, and soft landscaping
• Previous experience leading a team or supervising staff is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Honest, reliable, and trustworthy work ethic
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Good time management and ability to complete tasks independently
• Ability to work as part of a team and provide leadership when required
• Current manual driver’s licence
