General Maintenance Supervisor

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced General Maintenance Supervisor to join a well-established hospitality and accommodation property in regional New South Wales. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional with experience across multiple trades who enjoys working in a dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accommodation facilities, public areas, recreational amenities, landscaped grounds and general property infrastructure to ensure a safe, functional and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

• Carry out general building repairs and preventative maintenance
• Perform basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, plastering and general handyman work
• Maintain guest accommodation, amenities, public facilities and recreational areas
• Operate lawn mowers, brush cutters, tractors and other maintenance equipment
• Maintain gardens, roads, fences and landscaped areas
• Assist with renovation, refurbishment and property improvement projects
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from management and guests
• Maintain pools, pumps and general property infrastructure
• Inspect facilities and identify maintenance requirements
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety standards
• Maintain tools, equipment and maintenance records
• Support the overall presentation and operational efficiency of the property

• Previous experience in general maintenance, building maintenance, facilities management or a similar role
• Practical skills across multiple trades
• Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual work
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Current driver's licence or willingness to obtain an Australian driver's licence
• Experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting or landscaping is highly regarded
• White Card is advantageous
• Forklift, tractor or excavator operating experience is desirable
• Previous experience in hotels, resorts, caravan parks or tourism facilities is preferred
