Haid Waiter

We are seeking an experienced Head Waiter/Waitress to join a quality-focused French bistro in Western Australia. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with strong restaurant service experience, excellent wine knowledge and a genuine passion for food, wine and coffee.

The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering warm, professional and memorable dining experiences while maintaining high service standards in a welcoming bistro environment.

• Deliver exceptional service to guests from arrival through to departure
• Lead and support the front-of-house team during service
• Maintain high standards of restaurant presentation and customer service
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on food, wine and beverages
• Assist guests with wine selection and ensure professional wine service
• Coordinate service efficiently during busy periods
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members
• Manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
• Respond professionally to guest requests and resolve service issues
• Assist with opening and closing restaurant procedures
• Maintain responsible service of alcohol requirements
• Contribute to a positive, welcoming and professional hospitality environment
• Support team members and help maintain smooth restaurant operations

• Minimum 3 years of restaurant experience
• Fine dining or premium dining experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of restaurant service and wine
• Excellent communication and fluent English
• Valid RSA or Manager's Liquor Licence
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong multitasking and teamwork skills
• Genuine passion for food, wine and coffee
• Positive attitude and professional presentation
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work weekend and evening shifts
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences
