Heavy Diesel Mechanic
Onshore applicants only
The Opportunity
This Perth role suits a Heavy Diesel Mechanic who likes variety. The hiring business is a family-owned Western Australian transport and tourism company with a mixed coach and bus fleet, and its workshop handles everything from scheduled servicing and modifications to diagnosis and repair, plus the odd day at other WA locations.
From a recruiter's view, the strongest applications will lead with heavy diesel experience and clear examples of fault-finding. Coach or bus work is highly regarded rather than required, so mechanics from other heavy diesel fleets can still make a strong case. Mention any GPS, CCTV or on-board systems work as well.
Candidates need to be onshore with current Australian working rights. Sponsorship from the employer is available for suitably qualified applicants. Casual and full-time options exist, shifts are worked out at interview, and the closing date is 21 November 2026.
Match your CV to the duties listed here: your trade qualification, licence class (note HR if you hold it), working at heights and high risk work tickets, and the coaches or trucks you have serviced. Tailor a coach and bus workshop CV using Build AI CV.
