Heavy Excavator Operator
The Opportunity
Recruiters filling this Heavy Excavator Operator vacancy in Auckland are looking for one thing above all: real attachment experience. The yard is a busy scrap metal recycling site and the operator will drive a 30-tonne tracked excavator with three tools.
To stand out, show the employer that you have used a shear, a grapple and a magnet on heavy material, not only a bucket. Give examples of processing steel, feeding plant and loading containers, and mention how you stay safe around trucks and people on foot.
The job is permanent and full-time, with 30 hours as a floor and up to 50 a week. Potential AEWV sponsorship support is noted for highly qualified international applicants who are onshore or ready to move.
Recruiters read the first lines of a CV first, so lead with your tonnage, attachments and Class 1 licence. Shape a recruiter-friendly CV using Build AI CV to match what this yard needs.
