The Opportunity

From a recruiter's point of view, this Christchurch holiday park is screening for attitude before a long work history. The full-time Holiday Park Assistant Manager learns the business beside the management team, so earlier management experience is not needed; the requirements put the weight on reliability, confidence with guests and a willingness to pitch in.

The park hosts visitors from around New Zealand and abroad in motel rooms, cabins and powered sites, and summer is its busiest stretch. Pay is $25 to $30 per hour, the owners will train the right person, and there is a genuine chance to move up into management. There is also potential work visa sponsorship for the right candidate.

To stand out, mirror the duties in your application and name real moments when you handled check-ins, answered guest calls, managed bookings or kept facilities spotless.

Recruiters shortlisting for this park will scan your CV for front-desk and housekeeping evidence first, so shape a guest-services CV for this park in Build AI CV before you send it.
