Key Responsibilities
- Table service: taking orders and running food and drinks
- Accurate payment handling on the point-of-sale system
- Bar work: cocktails, beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks
- Fast table clearing and resetting, plus keeping the venue clean and presentable
- Welcoming guests and making them feel at home
- Passing on special requests and dietary needs clearly to kitchen and bar
- Teamwork with kitchen and bar staff during busy periods
- Recommending dishes and drinks from solid menu and specials knowledge
- Restocking, tidy work areas and following health, safety and food handling rules
Requirements & Eligibility
- Some waiting or bar service experience gained in a fast-paced hospitality setting
- Passion for delivering great customer service
- Strong communication skills with guests and teammates
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods in busy shifts
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive and flexible attitude, with good teamwork skills
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene
- POS experience is desirable; training can be provided
- Barista or bartending qualifications would be an advantage but are not essential
