Hospitality Workers (general)

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced hospitality couple to manage a well-established regional hotel in Queensland. This unique role offers one partner the opportunity to take on a General Manager/Licensee position while the other assumes a key operational role within the business. Together, you will oversee daily operations, lead the team, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and play an important role within the local community.

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel venue
• Lead and support hospitality staff across all departments
• Deliver outstanding customer service and guest experiences
• Manage rostering, staffing and team performance
• Monitor stock control, purchasing and inventory management
• Ensure compliance with licensing, gaming, workplace health and safety regulations
• Oversee bar, food service, accommodation and retail operations as required
• Manage financial performance, budgets and operational costs
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and community stakeholders
• Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and service delivery
• Contribute to the growth and success of the business through effective leadership

• Previous experience in hospitality management, hotel management or licensed venue operations
• Experience leading teams in a hospitality environment
• Strong customer service and people management skills
• Knowledge of stock control, venue operations and compliance requirements
• Ability to manage multiple operational areas within a hospitality business
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving abilities
• Professional and hands-on leadership style
• Ability to work and live within a regional community environment
• Current eligibility to hold relevant hospitality and licensing certifications where required
