The Opportunity

This Perth izakaya-style restaurant and bar is after a Japanese chef and cook who already knows their way around a sushi counter. From a recruiter's view, the strongest applicants will show time in a Japanese kitchen, comfort with fusion cooking and the stamina for a high-volume service. The employer states that visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

The venue has a new home in a large shopping centre and a growing team. The full-time, salaried hours are split, 11:30 am to 2:00 pm and then 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Beyond cooking, you would help with menu development and quality control, so examples of dishes you created or standards you kept will help you stand out.
