Licensed Club Venue Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Licensed Club Venue Manager to lead the operations of a busy hospitality venue. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on hospitality leader with experience managing licensed venues, leading large teams, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Working closely with department leaders, you will oversee daily venue operations, drive team performance, manage operational efficiencies, and ensure exceptional service across restaurant, bar, and event operations.

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the licensed venue
• Lead, mentor, and develop staff across multiple hospitality departments
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning
• Prepare staff rosters and monitor labour costs
• Manage employee performance and support ongoing training and development
• Oversee stock control, purchasing, and supplier relationships
• Manage restaurant reservations and ensure efficient service flow
• Work closely with the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dining experiences
• Coordinate with the events team to ensure successful functions and special events
• Support bar operations while ensuring compliance with licensing requirements
• Maintain high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, licensing, and operational policies
• Monitor venue performance and contribute to achieving business objectives

• Proven experience as a Venue Manager or Senior Hospitality Manager in a licensed venue
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Experience with staff rostering, workforce planning, and labour cost management
• Demonstrated experience in recruitment, training, and performance management
• Knowledge of stock control, purchasing, and operational systems
• Experience managing restaurant operations and reservation systems
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on management style with strong attention to detail
• Current RSA certification
• Current RCG certification
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
