The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated and reliable Automotive Mechanic or Apprentice Mechanic to join an established automotive workshop in Queensland. The role is open to apprentices at different stages of their training, experienced and qualified mechanics, candidates completing a Job Ready Program, and overseas automotive professionals with suitable experience.

This is a hands-on opportunity to build your automotive career while working in a professional workshop environment focused on quality workmanship, vehicle servicing, mechanical repairs and diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Servicing and maintaining vehicles
  • Carrying out mechanical repairs and component replacements
  • Performing vehicle inspections and identifying mechanical issues
  • Conducting automotive diagnostics and fault finding
  • Using diagnostic equipment and tools effectively
  • Completing repairs to a high standard of workmanship
  • Following workplace safety procedures and workshop standards
  • Working efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and professional work environment
  • Continuously developing automotive knowledge and technical skills

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Automotive Mechanic, Apprentice Mechanic or relevant automotive experience
  • Open to 1st Year and 2nd Year Apprentices
  • Experienced or Qualified Automotive Mechanics are encouraged to apply
  • Candidates currently completing a Job Ready Program may apply
  • Overseas applicants with suitable automotive experience may apply
  • Experience in vehicle servicing and mechanical repairs is highly regarded
  • Automotive diagnostics and fault-finding experience is advantageous
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking
  • Professional attitude and strong work ethic
  • Passion for vehicles and the automotive industry
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety
  • Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
