Mechanical Engineer

A growing engineering services company in Western Australia is seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers, Structural Engineers, Welders, Pressure Welders, Fitters, Pipefitters, Mechanical Fitters, and Metal Fabricators to join their expanding team.

Welders / Fabricators

• Operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
• Carry out cutting, grinding, welding, and assembly work
• Perform welding using GTAW, MMAW, FCAW, and GMAW processes
• Interpret welding symbols, workshop drawings, and fabrication instructions
• Assemble structures according to welding standards and codes

Fitters / Mechanical Fitters / Pipefitters

• Install and align mechanical components using technical drawings and manuals
• Conduct preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis
• Repair and replace damaged mechanical components
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Assist with commissioning and machinery upgrades
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and minimise downtime

Engineers

• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and work packages
• Coordinate stakeholders, contractors, and operational teams
• Provide technical input across design and procurement processes
• Analyse tenders, RFQs, drawings, and client specifications
• Communicate professionally with suppliers and clients

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Relevant engineering qualification required for engineering positions
• Ability to read and interpret technical/workshop drawings
• Strong communication skills — written and verbal
• Reliable, honest, and safety-focused attitude
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong work ethic and teamwork skills
• Experience in industrial, fabrication, or mechanical environments preferred
