Pizza Chef

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Chef to join a professional hospitality team in Western Australia. This casual position is suited to a pizza-making professional who takes pride in authentic preparation, consistent quality and efficient kitchen service.

The role offers the opportunity to work in a busy hospitality environment alongside an experienced kitchen team

• Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
• Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings and other ingredients for service
• Operate and monitor pizza ovens to achieve consistent cooking results
• Maintain appropriate portion control and presentation standards
• Work efficiently during busy service periods to ensure timely food preparation
• Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation requirements at all times
• Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented pizza preparation area
• Assist with preparation and other kitchen duties as required
• Respond appropriately to customer dietary requirements and special requests
• Work collaboratively with kitchen team members to maintain smooth service
• Monitor ingredient usage and maintain appropriate stock levels at the pizza station
• Contribute to a positive and professional kitchen environment

• Proven experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar commercial kitchen role
• Strong knowledge of traditional and contemporary pizza preparation techniques
• Experience operating wood-fired, gas-fired or similar commercial pizza ovens
• Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent food quality
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive kitchen tasks
• Reliable and flexible approach to casual work schedules
• Genuine passion for pizza-making and hospitality
• Relevant food handling or hospitality qualifications are advantageous
