Project Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join an established construction contractor delivering major building projects across Australia.

The successful candidate will have strong structural construction experience, particularly across formwork, concrete structures and high-rise construction. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor with a strong project pipeline and genuine career progression opportunities.

• Coordinate and manage construction activities across high-rise and large-scale building projects
• Plan and coordinate formwork and concrete structural works
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site-based construction activities
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety and construction schedules
• Assist with programming and coordination of project works
• Prepare and manage project documentation and construction records
• Assist with contract administration and commercial project requirements
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders
• Identify and resolve construction issues and technical challenges
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with project specifications, drawings and schedules
• Support project delivery from planning through to completion
• Contribute to maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Construction Management
• 2–5+ years of relevant post-graduate construction experience
• Strong experience with formwork and concrete structures – essential
• Experience with high-rise or large-scale building projects
• Experience working with a construction subcontractor
• Knowledge of construction programming and work coordination
• Experience in contract administration
• Strong subcontractor and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment
• Relevant overseas construction experience will be considered
• Willingness and eligibility to work in Australia
