Project Manager (Retail fitout)

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Retail & Hospitality Fit-Out Project Manager to join a growing organisation with a diverse portfolio of hospitality, retail and commercial developments in Western Australia.

This role is suited to a motivated professional with practical experience delivering retail and hospitality fit-out projects from concept through to completion. You will oversee multiple projects, coordinate contractors and trades, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.

• Manage hospitality, retail and commercial fit-out projects from planning through to completion and handover
• Coordinate builders, subcontractors, suppliers and multiple trade contractors
• Source and negotiate with trades including electricians, plumbers, painters, tilers, joiners and other specialist contractors
• Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules and cost estimates
• Monitor project progress to ensure delivery within budget, timeframe and quality requirements
• Review construction drawings, shop drawings, specifications and project documentation
• Assist with design coordination and practical construction solutions
• Liaise with consultants, certifiers, landlords, shopping centres and relevant authorities
• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve construction issues efficiently
• Manage project risks, variations, defects and final project handovers
• Provide regular progress reports to senior management
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements across project sites

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Project Manager, Junior Project Manager or Project Coordinator
• Previous experience delivering hospitality, retail or commercial fit-out projects
• Strong understanding of fit-out construction processes, sequencing and site coordination
• Experience managing multiple contractors and trades simultaneously
• Proven budgeting, scheduling and cost-control skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and shop drawings
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD software is highly regarded
• Background in design, interior design, architecture or drafting is advantageous
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
• High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality outcomes
• Established relationships with reliable contractors and subcontractors will be advantageous
• Experience delivering restaurants, cafés, bars, retail stores or other hospitality venues is highly regarded
• Experience working with shopping centres, landlords and tenancy fit-out requirements is desirable
• Mandarin or Cantonese language skills are advantageous but not essential
• Current driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required
