Scaffolder
The Opportunity
From a recruiter's point of view, this is a role where your tickets and track record do most of the talking. A growing, majority Aboriginal-owned business serving the resources and minerals sector around Bunbury, WA wants Intermediate and Advanced Scaffolders for ongoing maintenance, shutdown and specialised project work.
The employer wants people who are comfortable working to a roster and offers a choice between full-time positions (4:2, 4:4, sportsman or 5:2) and ongoing casual work. Applicants who live locally, or who are willing to move to the area, are the target, and a medical plus drug and alcohol screening form part of hiring. Sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.
To stand out, mirror the duties in this listing. Show where you have erected, altered and dismantled scaffold on live industrial sites, and name the safety systems you worked under.
Recruiters shortlist faster when the key details sit at the top of an English CV: your SI or SA licence, ticket dates and shutdown history. Shape a shutdown-focused scaffolder CV using Build AI CV and tailor it to this role.
